If you’ve been following my blog, you probably know I am a sucker for chairs. So last Friday I drove 2,5 hours to pick up our new chair, and drove 2.5 hours back. Quite the effort, but worth it since this beauty from 1979 is now ours.
My husband gave me a Herman Miller Eames on my birthday this year. The right one on the picture above, the color is called “greige”. I always love the story behind the design, and so these old chairs gave me a new story to tell.
This chair is being produced by Herman Miller and it’s made of fiberglass. The chair on the right (or in the middle of the top photo) is produced by Vitra and made of polypropylene (plastic). This means a great difference in looks, and by adding an vintage chair to your interior it brings a lot of personality.
