On my to do list for a long time: a small makeover for our bedroom. While I still liked the Andy Warhol posters, I felt it was time for something new. And I wanted to do something a little bit different this time. Some nice photographs, no typography.. And these posters from Desenio is what we ended up with! I really really love that the posters match each other. And while we doubted if they shouldn’t be hanging closer to one another, I like that it’s not so obvious.
So there they are, my new big posters. Usually when it comes to decorating I choose big gestures. These are 70×100 posters and I like the statement they make. They are from the webshop Desenio and I’ve spent a lot of time on their website, there is just too much prettiness to choose from! I already have some new ones on my wishlist for our project attic, mostly from the photography category.
I get a lot of questions about my poster frames, since a lot of shops removed their 70×100 frames. Desenio still has them! Check the frames here.
I’ve also added some new duvet covers to match the blue tones in the posters. The blue dried hydrangea blends in perfectly as well. These posters are easy to combine, for the summertime I prefer fresh light colors but I can easily see myself changing to dark duvets for the winter. I think it’s so cool that the posters match each other. On their website they have a lot more posters that make a perfect pair.
I am very happy the way our bedroom looks like now. While renovating this room we chose a white base so we could combine it with anything. Even 2,5 years further I still like it.
I think about repainting the grayish green on the wall but the truth is it’s a perfect color. It goes with everything!
