A new art concept in town and I’m so honored I’m one the first that got to try it out! Do you spy that gorgeous lady top right? Let me tell you all about it :)
It’s by Abstract Art and as I said, it’s a completely new concept. These illustrations are printed on cloth, and it gives the art immediately a whole new look, not to mention more texture as a printed poster. You receive a package with a frame you put together, and a cloth that you string up within the frame. And you wanna know the cool part? You can take it out, wash it and iron it! Or of course, replace with a new print from their collection. Most of all I love the extra texture it gives. It’s an art piece that invites you to come closer and check out the details.
I got to pick out a poster of their new collection, and this one immediately spoke to me. I think it’s such a powerful image, with that look in her eyes staring at you. Next to that I love the bees and the flowers surrounding her, that give the art a bit of color. While there were a few options I liked, I knew this one would be a perfect match for our interior.
In this photo you can see the texture, which makes it very unique.
The colors match this area so well so I’m loving it! This is without a doubt one of my fave corners in the living room. The most comfortable chair ever, some personal items, and some green to top it off. Green plants always feel like the finishing touch to me, and this Monstera is getting a bit out of hand but I like it. With everything else surrounding it being straight-lined, this plant is letting loose. And that kelim rug of course, that’s a big love at first sight when I spotted it at the thrift store.
So there we have it, the latest addition to our livingroom from Abstract Art! And I have something fun for you as well: with code “donebymyself” you’ll get €10 off your order. If you order, let me know which one you pick. I would love to hear ♥
Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Love, Marrit
PS. This art was gifted to me by Abstract Art. I only work with brands I love.
