It was time for a livingroom change! With a new couch entering our home, the combination of soft pink and a light grey couch got a little too sweet for me. It didn’t feel like “me” and since I had a little Studio Green from Farrow & Ball left from our attic, I decided I would give it a go. And I’m so happy with it! With our livingroom facing the South, this is the lightest area of our house. So this means I wasn’t scared at all to paint it dark. I so love this Studio Green paint, as it’s a very warm shade. What I also love about it, is that it feels like black in some areas, but it’s really green and therefor a lot warmer.
As you can see I also made some other changes, as I changed the rug and pillows. The pink rug didn’t match the wall enough for me, so I grabbed this red one from the attic. I added some red and dark-colored pillows plus a sheepskin and that sealed the deal for me. I love it!
I feel we are ready for winter! Cosying up on the couch under a blanket, with hot tea and candlelight.. I am almost looking forward to it!
